So now my big project is a very large sewing job--a British regimental musician's coat (or something of the sort--not exactly sure of the Official Terminology). It needs to be done in a week for a big festival in AZ (that I can't go to, unfortunately--maybe next year). It's going to look something like this, only the coat will be black with red facings and miles and miles of white twill tape trim. I'm getting close to being finished with the machine sewing, and then I'll have much hand-sewing of trim to do. Great chance to listen to lots of FOTF Radio Theatre dramas. :) I've finished Bonhoeffer and Little Women so far. Fun...
Anyway... I may not get pictures up till this coat project slows down a bit, but until then, here's our program. You know, that recital was fun. :)

Wow. I'm offically amazed at your recital pieces. Not that I have any clue as to what they sound like, but that you guys played ALL of THAT!? =) And piano pieces seem a million times longer than violin pieces. Amazing. Completely amazing.
My goodness. Should I say have fun sewing, or good luck with sewing?
"I'm sorry I missed it." just does not convey my feelings on reading the program. I would have loved to hear that music, and hearing it played by friends always makes it more special. I'm very glad you enjoyed doing it.
I hope your sewing project goes well. One of our vacation stops was a private museum in Virginia -- with two genuine revolutionary era military costumes on display. I immediately thought of you and took a number of pictures. ;) I should send them your way.
