I was reading 1 Chronicles 13 today. In verse 8 it says that "David and all Israel were celebrating before God with all their might..." It started me thinking--celebrating before God? How often do I celebrate before God, much less celebrate with all my might? Not nearly often enough. I started making a list of reasons to celebrate:
I am loved with an incomprehensible, everlasting love.
God wants us to seek Him and His strength.
I'm a daughter of God, paid for by Christ's blood. I have been transferred from the kingdom of darkness to His glorious light. (Col 1:13) Think about it for a minute. It's incredible.
God makes all things beautiful in His time.
God goes before me and is with me.
And that's barely a start. There's much to rejoice in, once we start thinking about it. :)
