Hymn for the Week

Hello friends! The Hymn for the Week is back, albeit a little late (I was rather tired and unmotivated last night). I'm not sure if this is technically a hymn, but I think it's certainly worth memorizing. I first heard this when I was taking music courses in Chicago a couple of years ago and I liked it.

I have just one recording of it; it's on the Steve Pettit and team CD If Eyes Could See. Here is the link. Unfortunately they don't have a sound clip of this particular song. For that, go to JW Pepper (here) and scroll down to the second selection of sheet music (the "uplifting!" one). It's a piano/choral arrangement and you can listen for free. (The first selection on the page is orchestral and it gets rather boom-chuck-y, if you know what I mean...)
