Good News Club

We've had a Good News Club (as a part of Child Evangelism Fellowship) in our local elementary school for about a year and a half now. A Good News Club is a weekly after-school club, teaching Bible and character to the kids. We're up to 12 more or less regular attendees, and it has been a joy to watch them learn more about God and His ways.

Here are some pictures from our Christmas party club. We had our very own Christmas play, the likes of which you've never seen before--I was narrator and our kids were actors.

Mary, Joseph, and donkey.

Angels.

Oops. I think one of our sheep died of fear. (This little boy wasn't interested in being anything other than a sheep, by the way. Sheep actually weren't in my original cast, but what can you do? :)

Arrival of the Shepherds.

Mary and a shepherd take a break to read a verse.

The arrival of the Kings.

And a few more recent pictures:

Looking at our memory verse in the Bible.

"My God is so great, so strong and so mighty;
there's nothing my God cannot do! WAHOO!"

Talking to God.

"Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matt. 19:14
