Rain, Rain, RAIN!!! It's been raining for a few hours now. Hasn't rained like this all year, and believe me, it was much needed.
Sailing. Water, waves, blue sky, the wind in my face, not getting dumped in the lake but getting close enough to make for a grand adventure, picking up speed...
Bach piano music, Bach music in general, piano music in general. Being able to play. What a gift.
Thunderstorms and big dark clouds--refreshing in their own way.
Pirates!! Attacks on the sailboat by kayaks manned by warlike savages. We valiantly defended ourselves with the bilge pump (known as a small bucket to the imagination-a-ly impaired), soaked a few of them, caught the wind and out-ran them. So much fun.
Relationships with people I love. Books. Good stories. Libraries with inter-library loan systems.
A God who doesn't let go.

Ahhh... yes. Your musings are as soothing and refreshing as the raindrops that bless our soil and souls!
(Change of mood, sort of: I got to enjoy the rainstorm for 2-3 hours while relaxing in a minivan with letters, books, and naps, watching others dig moats around tents. The water filled the moats. We nearly floated home... :)
Love you! ~Lisa
Sounds life is going well for you! :D That's always a good thing. ;)
Does this mean you are in a good mood today? :P
To bad it's my day to go to work.
Lovely, happy post! =) It made me smile because I can share the same feelings for all but two, and half of another (gotta which the piano to violin, and it'd be perfect...)
God is good, is He not?! =)
LOL David!!! Family and friends are the most important things here on earth, Good post Rachel
Sorry about almost dumping you in the lake... ;-) That was a fun boat ride. Perhaps I should not have been daydreaming so much and should have been attending to the tiller a little more closely. Thank you for the encouraging post.
